A Prayer For A Faithful Heart And Life
Matthew 14:22 Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. 23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone...(NIV)

Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit,
Precious Lord Jesus, I love you.
I wish to be ever faithful to you, Lord Jesus.
I wish to always put your priorities for my life ahead of my own priorities.
I wish to put your will ahead of my will.
I wish to do only what you would have me do and not what I want to do.
I wish to think only thoughts reflecting your love for me rather than thinking selfishly of myself.
I wish to live each minute as if each minute is the last minute I have to live for you.
Help me, O Lord Jesus, have a more faithful heart and life.
All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen

Psalm 37:4-6

4. Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.

5. Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:

6. He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.

RE: A Prayer For A Faithful Heart And Life
God the Father, source of all life and love, willed that husband and wife should become one flesh in marriage. Let us pray to him in sincerity of heart on this joyous occasion.

We pray for (Bride) and (Groom), that their love for each other may be patterned on Christ's love for his bride, the Church. We pray to the Lord.
Response: Lord, hear our prayer.
