CIRCUIT BREAKERS
Scripture: Isaiah 59:1-2
Behold, the Lord’s hands is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. 28 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sin have hidden Hid face from you, So that He will not hear.
The Lord’s hands refer to the Lord’s power. God’s power has no limitations in how far it can reach to touch our lives. The limitation to God’s power does not originate from Him; it originates from our unconfessed sin. When we sin and continue to live in sin without repenting and asking the Lord for forgiveness, we create circuit breakers on the flow of God’s power.
For those of you who do not know what circuit breaker is, it is a device that forms part of an electrical wiring system. Whenever the electrical wiring in a building has too much current flowing through it, these simple machines cut the power until somebody can fix the problem.
Unconfessed sin is a circuit breaker. It cut s the flow of God’s power from reaching out to you. To restore the flow of God’s power, we have to acknowledge lives in order. There are no short-cuts around sin.
We cannot make false impressions before the Lord and hope that He will not see the hidden sins of our lives. He sees and He knows.
God is eager to hear our prayers and respond to our requests. He has the ability to do far more than we can ever ask or think about it. His power can your every situation around and create new opportunities out of nothing. To have an uninterrupted supply of this power. We must in righteousness and holiness,
Prayer: Have mercy upon me, O Lord, and forgive me of all my sins. Scriptural Reading: Isaiah 59:1-8
