John 14:1-3

When God Seems Far Away
We just can't get away from God.

Psalm 139:
Where can I go from your spirit? where can i flee from your presence? if i go to the heavens, you are there, if i make my bed in the depths, you are there. if i rise on the wings of the dawn, if i settle on the far side of the sea, even your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast (vv.7-10)

God may seem far away but actually he is not.

Acts17: "God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him, though he is not far from each one of us. "For in him we live and move and have our being. "As some of your own poets have said, we are his offspring". (vv.27-28)

He cannot go back on his word

2 Timothy 2: if we faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself.(v.13)

Never Means never

Hebrews 13 God has said, Never will i have you never will i forsake you" (v5b)

He sustains us even when we don't realise it

Psalm 73 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my and my portion for ever (v.26)

Jeremiah 29: "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you declares the Lord....(vv 13-14)
