What is the value of prayer?
Watchman Nee said, "Our prayers lay the track down which Gods power can come. Like a mighty locomotive, his power is irresistible, but it cannot reach us without rails."

We too believe that prayer makes a difference for the one being prayed for, but also for the one doing the praying. We believe that prayer is communication with God. We believe that God is mighty, but that He is also mysterious. We don't always understand why He answers some prayers but is silent at other times. We believe prayer is the glue sticks your heart to God's...and to the hearts of the people you pray for.

We know that prayer doesn't solve all our problems, and often what we need is physical help for our physical needs. They're many needy people walking around pretending to not need anything. We believe that everyone needs prayer, and many people would love to pray for you if they knew what you needed.

Our society prides itself on being self-starting and self-sustaining. And strangely, having to ask for help—and ask for prayer—is seen as a sign of weakness. We believe a strong person can admit that there are some things over which they have no control. Strong people ask for prayer, and so do the weak. Some days, you are not sure which you are, and that's perfectly okay.

So whether you are weak or strong, it's simple: At Right From the Knees, you can post your prayer requests and pray for one another. And people are here. Real people. Waiting to pray for you. Waiting to hold you up and support you.

And on the other end of the conversion is the Lover of Your Soul, the Faithful and True One, whose mercies are new every morning. He wants to share this time with you. He is wanting to meet your needs, though sometimes instead of meeting a surface need, He meets a need that is much deeper and more profound. He's not always predictable, but he's always reliable.
