YOU SHALL EAT YOUR FRUITS
Scripture: Isaiah 65:21-22

They shall build houses and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit. 22 They shall not build and another inhabit; They shall not plant and another eat.

Have you had the experience of working so hard for something and losing the fruits of your labour to someone else? That is very, very, painful. When we work hard for something, we expect not only to see the results but also benefit from the results.

God promises us that when we serve Him, part of the blessings He extends to us is so make us enjoy the fruit of our labour.

There is always a period of uncertainty with our lives and the projects we work on. This uncertainty can be in relation to our own lives, children, education, business or a project.

We start, work hard and then wonder whether we will see results or be around to share in the joys of our hard work. If unchecked, this uncertainty can lead to fear and panic on our part.

In answer to our uncertainty, God has given us a promise. This promise is available for us to claim. Our hard work, effort, toils and sweat is not going to be vain.

God promises to make the things we plant or invest our energies in to yield results. He also promises that the things we take time to build will come to fullness and completion. Our labour shall yield results.

If the enemy threatens that you will not enjoy the fruits of your labour, don’t allow his words to go unchallenged. Stand on the authority of this promise and boldly lay claim to all that the Lord has made available to you.

Prayer: Thank You Lord, that my labour in You shall not go unrewarded Scriptural Reading: Isaiah 65:17-25
