Is it true that the "rapture doctrine" was instituted in the church at large because a woman had a dream and told J.N. Darby and Scofield about it, who later applied it to their eschatology? If so, how can we base an entire school of thought off someone's dream?

i use to think rapture but if you read the words of Jesus in Matt.24 carefully and there it is. But be aware of satan faking somthing. When Jesus returns it will be like lighting in the sky.
